“My name is Sharon and I was diagnosed late in 2016 with Lung cancer. Prior to this I worked for many years as a waitress in the Lakeway community. The disease and its treatment have taken quite a toll on my energy and I am grateful to CareBOX Program for the opportunity to access nutritional drinks to help keep my weight and energy up throughout the treatment process. I am currently living with my adult daughter who is completing her nursing degree and who is taking good care of me, but I am hoping to get back on my feet in the near future to return to my home and the patrons I love.”
