Claire is not only a survivor of both colon cancer and thyroid cancer but a songwriter and drummer for a local power pop band, the Wooly Vicars. Claire also finds the time to volunteer for Girls Rock Austin as well as a local animal shelter. Finding comfort in her rescue dog, Fergus, Claire is currently undergoing chemotherapy for her recurrent uterine cancer.
