Berta is 57 Year’s old, she has stage 3 cholangialcarcinoma in her liver. We are a very united family; Berta’s son is currently her caregiver. Our extended family from New Mexico come and go into our home to check on Berta. Her favorite activities before knowing of her disease were painting and reading. As of right now, Berta goes for walks around her neighborhood, but she does not last very long due to her condition. We, her family, work weekends and attend to her needs during the weekdays. We don’t have many friends, but the few friends we do have are kind. CareBOX has been of great help to enhance the quality of Berta’s daily living.
